                               RESOLUTION NO. 19642
                  
                  
                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY
                   CLOSURE OF GEORGIA AVENUE, M. L. KING
                   BOULEVARD, AND PEEPLES STREET, MORE
                   PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN, ON SATURDAY,
                   NOVEMBER 7, 1992 FOR THE PRESENTATION OF
                   "THE RIVER CITY CLASSIC ANNUAL GAME AND
                   PARADE" SPONSORED BY THE RIVER CITY CLASSIC
                   COMMITTEE, UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       temporary closing of Georgia Avenue between M. L. King Boulevard
       and 10th Street, the temporary closing of eastbound M. L. King
       Boulevard from Market Street to Peeples Street, and the temporary 

       closing of Peeples Street from M. L. King Boulevard to 10th 
Street
       on Saturday, November 7, 1992 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for 
the
       presentation of "The River City Classic Annual Game and Parade"
       under the sponsorship of the River City Classic Committee 
provided
       that the sponsor shall provide at all times an access lane for
       emergency vehicles and shall set out and pick up traffic cones,
       barricades, road closed, detour and warning signs in accordance
       with the traffic control plan attached hereto.
